- Shadow an experienced stylist to see real application techniques and client handling in action.
- During your final two sessions, you’ll bring a volunteer model to perform a cut, style, or color service with expert guided support.

Your Next Steps to Becoming a Licensed Barber or Cosmetologist
After completing the Private Training Course, the real growth begins. This phase focuses on building consistency, confidence, and real-world experience through hands-on practice with live models.
Over the next 1–3 months, students refine their technique, develop their style, and strengthen their skills through repetition and guided support. As they progress, they become eligible to enroll as an apprentice, where they can begin earning hours in a real shop or salon while working toward their California State Board license.
